Last Day of Preschool 2's

Noah had a great year at preschool this year.  He was in the 2's class and he had 8 boys and 2 girls in his class.  He was in heaven with all of those boys!

On the last day of school, they made visors and got pretty goofy!  Here is Noah and some of his boys!

Our Tiny Dancer

Cami's dance recital was on June 1st.  She danced to Beauty & the Beast's "Be Our Guest".  She did a great job and as always loved to be on stage.  Here's a few pics...

Brooke, our babysitter

Papa, Jonathan's dad

Gaga, my mom

Here's us!  Noah stayed home with Pop, dance recitals aren't really his thing :)

Proud of you Cami!

Sand & Sunshine

Last week we woke up the kids, put them in the car, and headed to the beach.  It was a beautiful day!

Noah played in the sand and drove his trucks all over the place.  When he has cars in his hands, he keeps himself occupied for a long time creating tracks for them.  He enjoyed filling up his dump trucks and bulldozing the sand.

Noah has been potty trained since May but when you are on the beach and a kid has to go potty they have to go.  So the potty made it's appearance on the beach.  We did the same when Cami was this age.  Noah had no shame using it several times!

Cami has always loved to sit in a bucket on the beach and play.  She has been doing this since she could barely stand up.  Notice she is washing her mermaid's hair!  Cami loves the beach and loves swimming in the waves.

We played, ate lunch, swam, cleaned up, ate dinner at our favorite Sweet & Savory, and made it home. Beach days are the best especially when your kids love it as much as we do!

Our Tenth Anniversary!

On July 10th Jonathan and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!  It's hard to believe it's been that long but we have two sweet kiddos to remind us it's all been worth it :)  Cami planned our anniversary night for us and I was in on the surprise.  Before Jonathan got home from work, she put on a flower girl dress she had, Noah put on a tuxedo pj shirt he had from his big cousin Will, and I my wedding dress!  Yes I haven't worn it in 10 years and I got it does not have a zipper and ties up the back, so I was able to get into it with the help from my neighbor.

We hung Jonathan's tuxedo jacket on our front door with a note that read, "Put this on first, then come inside."  Cami had decorated with balloons and she held my dress as I walked down the aisle to Jonathan.  It was a sweet night and then she sent us out to dinner :)

Not may people can say they have pictures of them with their kids in their wedding dress!  Jonathan and I then went and spent the weekend in Wrightsville Beach where we met for the weekend thanks to my parents for keeping the kids.  It was an anniversary we'd always remember!

Love you Jonathan!  Here's to many more and hopefully I can fit into my dress in another 10 years!

Noah, Our Superhero

This is what Noah looks like most days; superhero t-shirt and underwear!  Underwear! He is potty trained now which means no more diapers in this house.  We are thrilled and excited for Noah.  He loves his undies and is specific about which ones he wants to hear everyday.  He usually has a t-shirt to match.

He is our own little superhero these days.  He thinks he can fly, he runs or jumps everywhere he goes, and he thinks he has strong muscles.  Noah is all boy with lots of energy!  When he is not being a superhero he is racing matchbox cars.  He sleeps with 20 or more cars a night and he knows when one is missing.  His favorite person is his "sissy" he loves her so much and always wants to do what she is doing.  But he also knows how to drive her crazy, but that's what little brothers are all about, right?

Here's to a fun summer with my almost 3 year old little guy!

Noah's 1/2 Birthday

After a day of coloring and playing at preschool, Noah celebrated his half birthday with his class.  Since his birthday is in August, his teacher is celebrating half birthdays.  He was very excited that it was his birthday and a little confused.  I asked him what snack he wanted to take to class and he requested cookie cake!

Here's the 1/2 Birthday Boy!  They sang Happy Birthday to him and ate cake.  Noah was very proud :)
